The shearers, from Belfast, used the Orford Vintage Rally shearing competition as practise before the World Shearing championships in New Zealand next month.
Hundreds of vintage engines, tractors, saws, classic cars and trucks were on display at the Orford Sports Ground.
The annual event drew patrons from across the south-west and further afield.
Canberra’s Harry Brown made the long drive to the country hamlet with his mid-1920s New Record drag saw.
He said he had been warmly welcomed by his camping neighbours.
“Everyone is very friendly,” Mr Brown said.
Organiser Terry Rowbottom was impressed with the turnout at the event, which has been running for more than 20 years.
“It’s been fabulous,” he said. “We have had terrific crowds.”
