South West Credit employee Jessie McConnell, an insurance specialist, received an award for outstanding improvement from an individual at a QBE Insurance Membercare presentation ceremony in Sydney.
Mrs McConnell said she got fulfillment out of making sure people were signed up to the right type of insurance.
“Talking to customers is the best part,” she said.
Mrs McConnell, who shifted into the industry from hospitality four years ago, said people appreciated being able to speak to someone face-to-face.
South West Credit also won an award as the domestic financial institution of the year for 2016 at the event.
