The town’s iconic Moyneyana Festival, now in its 69th year, is again playing a key role with a vast program of free activities.
On Wednesday, popular children’s entertainers the Mik Maks were centre stage on Fiddler’s Green while the same venue hosted a Kids Fun Day on Thursday.
Moyneyana Festival chairman Reg Harry said it was turning out to be an exceptional summer in Port Fairy.
“It is a record year in Port Fairy, there are people everywhere,” Mr Harry said.
“The traders are flying and with so many people in Port Fairy, it means there is a flow-on to the smaller towns in the shire which is good for everyone.”
