Students from Mortlake P-12 College, ranging from preps up to year eights, arrived on buses to bring some Christmas spirit to hospital patients and staff.
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree all featured as the students recited the songs they had been practising, first in smaller groups in different wards and then as a whole group near the hospital’s entrance.
Mortlake P-12 teacher Kath Tanner said for many of the students, members of the school choir, the hospital visit was a highlight.
