Goat and sheep producers can attend a series of information sessions to help them adopt the technology that is to become mandatory in 2017.
From 1 January all sheep and goats born in Victoria will need to have an electronic National Livestock Identification System tag before being dispatched.
The workshops will focus on requirements and support available.
Workshops will be held in Hamilton on Tuesday, December 6 from 7.30am at the saleyards canteen and in Colac on Wednesday, December 7 from 7.30am.
