More than 260 entries from the EvA80 through to CCI three-star classes competed at the Lakes Sporting Complex from Friday through to Sunday.
“We’d certainly like to see it grow – this year has been a huge success,” Camperdown Horse Trials president Nick McClelland said.
“(That’s) mainly due to our new cross country course design. Riders were raving about how the course rides and the types of jumps that were presented to them.
“Our emails, texts and Facebook messages that have come through this morning (Monday) have been really positive.”
Emily Anker took out the CIC three- and two-star events, riding Glenwood Park Cooper Street and Pop The Question respectively.
In the CCI class, Wendy Schaeffer-MacDonald won the three-star category, Benjamin Tyson two-star and Meg Bishop the one-star.
Anna Church claimed a win in the CCI one-star young rider on Viewbank Icon, while Sarah Robbins saluted in the CCN one-star.
Ellyse Davis, on Cassilis Park Pepper, took out the CCN105 and Sophie Bennett won the CCN105 Junior on Branigans Irish Connection.
