WARRNAMBOOL and District Cricket Association will roll out some representative debutants for its practice match against Colac on Sunday.

Allansford’s Harry Bond and Woodford duo Tyler Fowler and Kory Howlett will play their first match for the WDCA after being named in the 12-man team to play at Warrion, just outside of Colac.

“It gives us the opportunity to see some of the players that haven’t played for our association before,” WDCA Melbourne Country Week coach Ray Drew said.

“We’re playing to the same conditions as Melbourne Country Week.”

WDCA team to take on Colac: Harry Bond (Allansford), Nathan Murphy, Jacob Brooks (Brierly-Christ Church), Steve Carver, Brett Eldridge, Kyle Humphrys, Geoff Williams (Nestles), Matthew Petherick (Russells Creek), Ben Threlfall (West Warrnambool), Nick Butters, Tyler Fowler, Kory Howlett (Woodford).
