Warrnambool residents were inconvenienced when a local ATM failed to give back their cards on Monday. ANZ bank branch manager Ray Krebs said the fault was an unusual occurrence and apologised to those affected by the incident.
“To anyone inconvenienced, we are certainly apologetic,” he said.
Mr Krebs said a serviceman would attend the bank on Monday to address the fault with the machine.
The incident follows an ANZ goMoney outage yesterday that has since been resolved.
