Police Detective Sergeant Jason von Tunk, of the Portland crime investigation unit, said officers raided an Arkell Court address in Portland on Monday.
"Detectives and uniform officers attended at the Arkell Court address to execute a search warrant," he said.
"We located the stolen red Holden Monaro in the backyard, along with a large twin-axle caravan believed to have been stolen in Mount Gambier and a stolen blue Holden SS utility.
“Also recovered were other items believed to be stolen including chainsaws, fishing rods, barbecue goods and drugs involving about one gram of ice."
Detective Sergeant von Tunk said two men were arrested - a 33-year-old man who has recently moved from Mount Gambier to Portland and a 35-year-old Mount Gambier man.
"They were interviewed, charged and bailed to appear in the Portland Magistrates Court on March 7 next year. They were both charged with multiple counts of handling stolen goods, burglaries and thefts," he said
"Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the criminal activities both in Portland and in South Australia."
The Monaro is valued at more than $90,000, the ute at $10,000, the caravan at $10,000 and combined with the other stolen items the total value of the stolen goods is in excess of $110,000.
The Monaro was reported stolen last Thursday after it went missing from a shed in south Portland and the theft created a storm on social media after the owner offered a $5000 reward.
There were sighting across the south-west including Portland, Warrnambool, Hamilton and Mortlake.
Detective Sergeant von Tunk said police were surprised by the amount of information and tips provided by members of the public.
"It was a bit overwhelming but has led to an excellent outcome. Whether the reward offered is paid is up to the owner of the Monaro," he said.
