The grade 6 pupils at St John’s Primary School in Dennington will be manning a makeover madness stall as their contribution to the event. Dennington’s Day Out is the major fundraiser for the school with this to be the fourth year it has been staged.
Committee member and teacher Amy Atwell said the involvement of the pupils is pleasing.
“It is great for the students, particularly those in grade 6, to be involved and have some ownership,” Mrs Atwell said. “They will be colouring and braiding hair as well as face painting so it will be good fun.”
