Free public transport will be available for card holders from October 2-9. The period includes six days of free V/Line travel from October 3-6 and 8-9 and eight days of free town and metro bus services.
Some V/Line services require reservations to travel for free. Patrons can check their eligibility before travelling by looking for an ‘R’ on V/Line timetables.
The travel initiative encourages seniors to make the most of more than 1500 festival events on offer which begins with a celebration day in Federation Square on October 2.
