NDIS sector manager and guest speaker Bruce Argyle will discuss the change-over – occurring in October next year – from 7.30pm at Southern Way in Warrnambool.
People with disabilities will receive more money with a broader scope on how to spend it to support their lifestyles.
Mr Argyle said there would be more autonomy and opportunities for workers and more attention directed at participants.
Southern Way chief executive Paul Lougheed said service providers in trial sites were experiencing significant challenges in adapting to the new marketplace environment.
“Having Bruce Argyle in Warrnambool… will give us important direction on how best to prepare for the transition,” he said.
