Adult Learners’ week is held from September 1-8 and the Warrnambool-based adult education group is hosting a variety of activities to celebrate.
Short course co-ordinator Lindy Hirniak said the organisation had plenty to offer adults looking to learn.
“From lifestyle to accredited and pre-accredited training, Adult Learners’ Week is the perfect time to come and see us at SW Victorian SEAL, and begin or resume your lifelong learning journey,” she said.
Events include:
- Community Kitchen, open on Thursday (September 1) from 10am-noon. See the kitchen in action, have a look around the organisation and enter the treasure hunt and free raffle.
- SEAL will host a stall at the Fresh Market, Lake Pertobe on Sunday September 4 9am -1pm.See what the Men Shed make and check out our course offerings.
- The Men’s Shed will be open on Tuesday, September 6.
