The Glenelg River at Dergholm is about 4.7 metres (minor flood level 4.0 metres) and rising slowly.
In Casterton the river is about 3.86 metres (minor flood level 3.8 metres). Further rises are expected as high flows from upstream reach Casterton over the next few days.
Emergency services warn those nearby to not drive, walk or ride through floodwater. Farmers have been told to move machinery and livestock to higher ground.
