Cotton On Group national retail manager Brad Rowland said the company was excited to confirm it would be setting up in empty space in the former Centrepoint Arcade.
“With the success of our stand-alone store on Raglan Parade, we felt it was the right time to expand our offering even further for the Warrnambool community,” Mr Rowland said.
“Opening new stores is always an adventure and for us, one of the fun parts of the process is finding the talented team that become part of the Cotton On family – and with the opening of our new Warrnambool store, we’ll be looking to fill at least 40 casual and management positions in both a full-time and part-time capacity.”
Mr Rowland also confirmed multiple Cotton On Group brands would be offered under one roof.
“We’re also incredibly proud to be rolling out our multi-store format in Warrnambool – this is something we’ve been working on globally and it’s great to be able to execute this type of store at a local level,” he said.
The company has not yet confirmed the specific brands that will be opening on Liebig Street.
A spokesman for the Pausewang Family Group, which owns the space, previously confirmed it had leased 1200 square metres of retail space to the Cotton On Group.
Cotton On Group brands include Cotton On, Cotton On Body, Cotton On Kids, Rubi and Typo.
