A bonfire and barbecue dinner this Saturday July 30 will celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Cub Scouts.

The dinner will be held from 6pm at Lake Pertobe and the bonfire will be lit at Flagstaff Hill at 7.30pm.
The lighting of the bonfire will be followed by a short ceremony reflecting on the centenary and the role Cub Scouts have played in the community over time.
One of the Flagstaff Hill battery defence cannons will be fired towards the end of the evening to mark the celebration.
