John Frederick Sharples, 65, now of Bribie Island, Queensland, and previously of Portland, entered not guilty pleas in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court this week to 13 serious sex charges.
The two complainants were under 16 years old at the time of the alleged offending and they are historical matters.
Mr Sharples' case was adjourned for a directions hearing in the county court next month when it is likely a trial date will be considered for a future sitting of the Warrnambool County Court.
In a completely separate case, a Corangamite district man, 50, has pleaded guilty to six charges in a Warrnambool Magistrates Court committal hearing.
He pleaded guilty to four counts of indecent assault and two charges of attempted incest.
That case was adjourned for hearing in the Warrnambool County Court sitting starting on October 17.
