It was the Trash Test Dummies first time at Fun4Kids on Friday and they made a great first impression.

The trio had children and adults wondering what was next, as they climbed over the audience seated in the theatre and began a ball fight as part of their act.
Performer Simon Wright described the family comedy circus show as interactive and engaging.
“It’s just a really fun show,” Mr Wright said.
“When we made it we thought ‘we’re going to make a show that the audience enjoys but one that we really enjoy doing as well’.
“We enjoy being really entertaining and really silly.”
Melbourne’s Paulsen family, including sons Ky, 10, and Oliver, 8, said the show was brilliant.
“They were so funny to engage the audience for an hour, and not just the kids, but the adults too,” Mrs Paulsen said.
“I had tears streaming down my face and my cheeks were sore from laughing,”
Volunteer Judy Meehan is in her 15th year working at the festival and said the act was for all ages.
“It’s one of the best shows,” Mrs Meehan said.
She loves her role and is unsure when she will hang up her festival boots.
“I enjoy the shows. I enjoy the kids and the atmosphere. It’s really good. I just wish more locals would get involved in volunteering and support the festival,” Mrs Meehan said.
“People complain about it but they’ve never been in here to see what’s here.”
Scarecrow manager Gayle Payne co-ordinates a team of 12 scarecrows, who locate lost children and help with crowd control in Festival Hall.
“It’s sad when it’s over,” Mrs Payne said. “Watching the kids faces and the expressions on their faces is just great.”
The festival wraps up on Saturday. Highlights include the Trash Test Dummies, Live & Learn the Jedi Way Sons of Obiwan Lightsaber Academy show and workshops.
