BUNGLING thieves have dumped a $12,000 Polaris farm vehicle they stole from a Lismore farm.

Detective Senior Constable Wayne Ryan, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said thieves went to a Lismore farm overnight Wednesday.
The Polaris four-wheel farm vehicle was taken and the offenders towed it from the property.
While towing the vehicle it was damaged and then dumped in Lismore’s Ferris Street where it was located on Thursday morning by a council worker.
The victim also reported the theft, leading to police crime scene police investigating the scene and the vehicle.
Detective Senior Constable Ryan requested people in farming communities to keep an eye out for unusual or suspicious vehicles and take down registration plates numbers.
