South West TAFE hosted more than 800 students from across the region in the hands-on sessions.
Year nine students participated in the annual Try A Career Day at Sherwood Park in Warrnambool.
Options included automotive, building, community services, electrical, engineering, cabinet making, hairdressing, health, hospitality, make-up and media.
Other activities included plumbing, arts, agriculture, sport and recreation and business administration.
