Eales suffered the injury in the Bombers’ round five Mininera and District loss to Lismore-Derrinallum.
He missed Penshurst’s 19-point win over Tatyoon the following week and was forced to direct play from the sidelines in his role as Mininera and District interleague coach last Saturday.
Eales will miss this Saturday’s clash against SMW Rovers.
“The injury needs me to wear a cast for four weeks,” Eales said.
“I will miss definitely this week. I was hoping to maybe strap it the following week and play but I haven’t marked a footy since it happened so it is still a bit tender.”
Eales is part of a big injury list for the Bombers.
Despite this, they sit second on the ladder.
“I have been really happy with our attitude,” Eales said. “We had 10 out against Tatyoon and still won so that was a great effort.”
