To celebrate the garden’s 150th anniversary, Friends of Warrnambool Botanic Garden (FWBG) are holding a photography competition to showcase the space.
FWBG president Janet MacDonald said keen photographers were encouraged to shoot any images of the gardens.
Entry is free. First prize in the open competition is $500, under 18 is $100 and under 12 is $50. Entries can be in colour or black and white and up to A3 in size. They should be delivered or sent to Warrnambool City Council, 25 Liebig Street, Warrnambool – attention: John Sheely, curator WBG. An exhibition is planned for the Artery in July.
