A man and a woman were arrested in west Warrnambool on Wednesday night after police found illegal substances in their car.

Police stopped the vehicle about 8.30pm on Wednesday and conducted a search, discovering a small number of ecstasy tablets.
A further search revealed about 10 grams of amphetamine, or speed, in the man’s pants as well as 150 ecstasy tablets.
The man, 22, has been charged with two counts of drug trafficking, two counts of possessing an illegal drug and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
The woman, 24, was released on bail after being charged with possession of an illegal drug in relation to the ecstasy tablets.
Both the man and the woman are Warrnambool residents.
The man is due to appear in Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Friday.
A police spokesperson described the incident as a routine check.
