Legendary AFL coach David Parkin and Hawthorn premiership player Matt Spangher will attend Sunday’s game at Nirranda.
They will be joined by Melbourne Vixens player Tegan Philip and former Australian netball captain and coach Norma Plummer.
The arrival of the special guests is due to the fixture’s standing as the WorkSafe game of the month.
Part of the ceremony of the day will be family friendly activities including football and netball themed inflatables and face painting.
After the match, presentations will be made to the winning team by the WorkSafe ambassadors.
There will also be a presentation of a best-on-ground medal.
Nirranda will go into the game as a clear favourite. The Blues have three wins to their name while the Bulldogs are still searching for their first victory.
