Sergeant Mick Wolfe of Port Fairy police praised the good-natured fun of people at the festival.
He said a large contingent of officers were based in the arena and on the streets of the town.
They were targeting drinking on the streets and underage drinking.
Sergeant Wolfe said during Saturday, police arrested one person for being drunk.
Two people received penalty notices for underage drinking while one person was caught for offensive behaviour.
“People have had a great time so far and we don’t anticipate that will change,” Sergeant Wolfe told The Standard on Sunday morning.
Officers worked about 115 shifts from Friday to Monday, with 40 personnel rostered to work on Saturday and Sunday – the festival’s biggest days.
This is compared to two people per shift on a regular day, Sergeant Wolfe said.
