The group one racer made it as far as the semi-finals in the first round at Sydney in November, but is hoping to extend his racing on Saturday.
“We’re looking for some good numbers out of it and the track is looking really good,” he said.
Wooster had issues earlier in the season, as his bike had too much horsepower, but he addressed the problem and has been happy with his racing since.
He is excited to compete against the some of the best riders in Australia in the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) series, which is running for the first time in Australia.
“We were pretty happy being able to have some testing on Wednesday, we got a feel for the track,” he said.
“We had a couple of oil leaks and things, but we’ve got it all sorted, so that makes you feel confident.”
