A 19-year-old man was arrested, interviewed, charged and bailed to appear in the Portland Magistrates Court in April.
A 15-year-old will appear in another court.
Detective Senior Constable Jarrod Anderson, of the Portland police Crime Investigation Unit, said cash, wallets and other usual items found in vehicles were taken.
He said the goods were all stolen from unlocked cars in the Portland central business district.
“Thefts from vehicles are crimes of opportunity,” he said.
“We would ask all car owners to lock their vehicles and put valuables out of sight. These simple measures could save you becoming the victim of crime.”
