Parents Club president Mrs Kate McNaughton said the organisers were delighted with the turnout.
"We've done really well, there were lots of people. The new initiative, the Big Dig, got people involved especially the last one with parents acting like teenagers. It was on for young and old," she said.
"Centre stage very popular and drew a big crowd for our own pipes and drums band. I just want to thanks everyone who contributed and attended for their support."
Mrs McNaughton said the the State Emergency Service live demonstration also proved a big hit with the jaws of lifer being used to free someone from a trapped car.
