Two men have been charged over the shooting of a young man at his Bentleigh East home last month.

Detectives arrested the 20-year-old men in Cheltenham and Clayton about 9am on Thursday.
They have been charged with aggravated burglary, intentionally causing serious injury, being a prohibited person possessing a firearm and theft.
The 21-year-old victim, who was shot in the chest after the men allegedly followed him to his South Road home about 6am on October 30, is still recovering from his injuries.
Police expect the pair will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Thursday afternoon.
