The Vics, who feature Russells Creek’s Liam Brown and Mortlake’s Lachlan Wareham, never recovered after being 3-5 in pursuit of Northern Territory’s 6-197 at John Blanck Oval on Thursday.
They finished all out for 156. Brown was out for a golden duck while Wareham fared marginally better, making one. Earlier, Wareham continued his impressive form with the ball, snaring 2-36 from seven overs.
The defeat followed a victory against ACT/NSW Country on Monday and a rain-affected loss to Victoria Metro under the Duckworth/Lewis method on Tuesday. The titles finish on October 8.
