The Saints recalled interleague ruckman Jeremy Hausler at the selection table on Thursday night for their battle against arch rival Warrnambool.
Hausler has overcome a finger injury and replaces defender Tim Martin.
Koroit coach Adam Dowie said the Saints were thrilled to get Hausler back.
“Last week if we had have played he’d have played and he probably could have played in the second semi,” he said.
“He is 100 per cent.”
Dowie said omitting Martin was difficult but praised him for his class in handling the decision.
“I don’t mind the late nights and recruiting and those type of things but the thing I dislike doing is that,” he said of telling Martin.
“Unfortunately you can’t play 23 or 24 players, you have to play 21.”
