Mr McVean, from SKB Rodwells livestock agency, and Mr Praolini, from Southern Grampians Livestock, will compete against eight other entrants from throughout the state in an intense auctioneering showdown.
The competition will be held at the Victorian Livestock Exchange at Pakenham on September 21 in conjunction with the 2015 Royal Melbourne Show.
Competitors will auction commercial cattle, through the sale ring, that have been assessed earlier as part of judging at the Royal Melbourne Show Prime Stock Competition and sourced by agents from producers.
