The Warriors started slowly, trailing by 13 points at the first break and 32 at half-time to forfeit any chance of extending their season.
“Allansford’s pressure was really good which affected our skills, we just weren’t as sharp with our disposals,” Beechey said.
“Our intensity was a few percent down on last week but in finals that really hurts, each week you need that to lift and if it doesn’t you fall off the pace.”
The loss of Danny Weel with a hamstring injury early in the game hurt the Warriors who went in without Colby Rix and Zac Pickett who both didn’t recover in time from injures sustained in the elimination final.
Wingman Jacob Dunkley and ruckman Vincent Fogarty completed good finals series’ with impressive performances for the Warriors.
