Bundle polled 33 votes to win comfortably with Dennington’s Sara Morrison runner-up on 26 votes.
In an astonishing burst, Bundle polled in all the last eight games of the season, a run that included receiving three votes in each of the final four games.
In all she polled in 13 games with three-vote hauls in eight of those.
Merrivale finished fourth and was knocked out in the elimination final on Sunday, going down 29-25 to Kolora-Noorat with Bundle among the Tigers’ best.
Family commitments meant Bundle was unable to attend the count but excited teammates soon got her on the phone to share the good news.
“It is such a surprise, it is awesome news to get,” Bundle said.
“I have played at Merrivale since juniors and I just love playing netball, my theory has always been go hard or go home.”
