The Therapeutic Goods Administration has issued a recall of certain batches of Pharmacy Care and Pharmacy Choice brand children's paracetamol.
A batch of Pharmacy Choice Ibuprofen Children's medicine is also being recalled.
Grooves on the 200ml bottle lids can break off when they are opened, sparking fears the pieces of plastic could pose a choking hazard in young children.
It follows a recall in July of a number of batches of Chemmart, Pharmacy Choice and Terry White Chemists children's pain reliever products for the same reason.
Anyone with medicine from the affected batches is urged to return the bottle to their pharmacist for a refund or replacement.
People with the Pharmacy Choice paracetamol can call manufacturer Symbion's customer service line on 1300 430 611 and anyone with a bottle of the Pharmacy Care medicines can call Sigma on 1300 132 293.
