South West Healthcare, Warrnambool and District Community Hospice, Portland and District Health Service, Deakin University and Western District Health Service Hamilton will all speak at the session at Warrnambool’s Lady Bay Resort.
The eight-member Legislative Council Legal and Social Issues Committee, led by MP Edward O’Donohue, is touring the state to hear from the medical community about end of life choices and palliative care.
Its role is to asses current practices, review current legislation and investigate whether changes to legislation should be made.
