Budding film stars tried their luck in the Sinclair Wilson Movie Makers workshop with Ballarat’s Samantha McCarthy taking the lead.
The 11-year-old said she loved the workshop because she got to pretend and “chop off a lion’s head.” It’s the fifth year Samantha has been to the festival and she planned to come back next year.
“I love it, it’s so good,” she said.
For Ellerslie’s Harley Pickford, 5, seeing the heroes in a half shell was the highlight of the day.
Dressed complete with a mask and turtle shell, Harley was one of many children who enjoyed the moves of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
