The team is trialling a 10-week residency at the Southcombe Sporting Complex.
If the partnership is suitable, the Dirty Angels hope the venue can become a permanent home.
Media representative Kylie Moroney said the group would meet weekly.
“We will be skating there every Tuesday night for the next 10 weeks to see if it works for us and for the stadium,” she said.
Ms Moroney said they would ideally like a Warrnambool venue to hold bouts, however, she was pleased Port Fairy had embraced the team.
“We have had trouble finding a venue in Warrnambool,” she said.
“People are shy of letting us skate on their floors, but the skates don’t do any damage.
“A stone in a basketballer’s shoe does more damage than our skates.”
The roller derby team has 11 members.
Ms Moroney said new skaters, called ‘fresh meat’, were always encouraged. “In May we will have open skate sessions for newcomers to come and have a try,” she said.
“We call it Meaty May.”
