The Lions were untroubled throughout in posting the 16.18 (114) to 4.6 (30) triumph in front of a healthy crowd at Walter Oval today.

The Demons led by 17 points at half-time but kicked clear thereafter to win 20.14 (134) to 13.10 (88), with former coach Brendan Hickey booting five goals.
And a best-afield performance from Brenton Webster has earned Allansford a big win against Panmure at Allansford Recreatoin Reserve.
The Cats won 23.17 (155) to 10.9 (69), having trailed by 13 points at quarter-time.
Webster booted five goals for the victors and David Pullen kicked three, while new Bulldogs coach David Haynes finished with four.
In the A grade netball, a much-changed South Rovers outfit defeated East Warrnambool 56-24.
Dennington prevailed in a high-scoring affair against a much-improved Nirranda 56-44.
Allansford edged out Panmure 41-35 while Timboon Demons shaded Russells Creek 38-28 in the other match.
