For the second year in a row Bamstone has won the best in show award and a gold medal at the show.
This is the first time anyone has achieved back-to-back best-in-show wins.
The winning exhibition was created through a partnership between Bamstone and landscape designers Mark Browning and Lisa Ellis.
The exhibit, entitled Quietude, includes 60 tonnes of bluestone from Bamstone.
Staff from Bamstone have worked with the designers for the past two-and-a-half weeks to set up the exhibit at the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens.
Michael Steel from Bamstone said it is a huge honour to go back-to-back in two of the big awards at what is the largest garden show in the southern hemisphere.
“We are delighted, it has been an enormous effort from everyone,” Mr Steel said.
“We started planning for this as soon as last year finished but we could never have imagined winning again.
“Mark and Lisa are exceptional at what they do and have worked so hard, as has everyone at Bamstone.”
Mr Steel said the design uses recycled material and continues Bamstone’s commitment to put to use 100 per cent of the material it handles.
He said such a show of sustainability would have caught the eye of the judges.?
