His video on Facebook showed a doctor wearing full protective gear hopping to the the beat of African drums after a little girl was declared free of Ebola in Sierra Leone.

The doctor was located in the restricted red zone but that did not stop him from joining in the celebrations. 

The video has been viewed over 9000 times.

Swedish national, Falebrand joined the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) to provide internet connectivity for 65 medical institutions in Sierra Leone in the wake of the Ebola crisis.

The team is made up of partners, NetHope, Emergency.lu, SOS Children's villages, BT and the Ericsson Response team in which Mr Falebrand is a team member.

A blog by Maryna Taran on the United Nations' World Food Programme said on Tuesday that these were "witnessed moments of hope".

"What motivates the ETC in their work are moments like this Ebola Survivor Release Ceremony at the Port Loko GOAL Ebola Treatment Unit which the team witnessed last week while carrying out a network maintenance mission," she said.

Mr Falebrand said his work in Sierra Leonne was a personal challenge rather than a technical one.

"It's a very special feeling to go into an Ebola Treatment Unit. You smell all the chlorine and you see the doctors working in the red zone. You are close enough to actually look across into the red zone and see the people who are being treated inside the units. It's not far away – it's very close to Ebola," he told the World Food Programme.

Falebrand who lives in Grebo in Sweden has completed his work in Sierra Leone. He updated his Facebook profile with his experiences.

"Not only the doctors dance. One of the kids dancing in red zone to celebrate a survivor. She needed help to stand up, but she did dance," he said in one post.
