About 600 people, including 200 drivers and crew members, converted on the Warrnambool Airport strip for the high-powered meeting on Sunday.
The crowd included dozens who attended night three of the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic that evening, including from as far away as Western Australia.
Terry Malone took the bike honours aboard his Suzuki GSX-R from Michael Norman, riding a Kawasaki ZZR.
Andy Gay in his Holden VH Commodore claimed super street, from Peter Williams in his Toyota Corolla.
And Mathew Hoggan won the quick 16 class driving a striking Holden Gemini. He beat Des Jeffrees in a Holden VT Commodore.
"The second meeting of the year, everything went really well, we had lots of support from spectators," WADDRA president Tony Frost said.
"A heap of speedway spectators came out and had a look, it gave them something to do during the day before they went out to the speedway.
"And the weather out real well. We tried a new format to finish early, we stuck to a time schedule. Everything went to plan, no hiccups."
Frost said the meeting was part of the WADDRA track championship, although officials were still finalising the points standings yesterday.
He said competitors travelled from Geelong and Mount Gambier - a sign of the increasing popularity of the Warrnambool meetings.
"People are travelling a couple of hours to come to the track," he said.
"Everyone was super impressed with the way we ran the meeting, the amount of runs they got and the atmosphere - we had spectators from Western Australia.
"I got stopped by a couple of guys who to go Perth Motorplex and they couldn't believe the way we presented the track and how professional it was run.
"They were amazing how we set up the temporary facility and knocked it down in two days."
The third meeting of the WADDRA season is set for March 15 at Warrnambool Airport.
But organisers are seeking to have it rescheduled due to a clash with a round of the Australian National Drag Racing Association's sportsman series in Adelaide.
