The show, which has raised more than $40,000 in previous years, is a biennial craft fund-raiser for Peter’s Project.
Show committee member Ann Donaldson said the show would be held on January 9-11.
More than 300 quilts will be on display, showing off the best sewing skills from across the region.
“We ask anyone from across the south-west to Mount Gambier and Penola to show their quilts,” Ms Donaldson said. “We encourage the public to come along. We have people coming from across Victoria and some even stay overnight.”
The Country Women’s Association and Lions Ladies Club will provide morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
“We will have traditional and modern quilts with a variety of techniques on display,” Ms Donaldson said. “We encourage beginner through to advanced quilters to show their quilts. ”
Materials and accessories will be on sale while raffle fund-raisers will also run throughout the show.
The quilt show will be held at the Brauer College gymnasium. Entry is $10. Contact Ms Donaldson on 5560 5522 to enter quilts.
