The parish has organised its 15th annual show in the Selby Road church, beside the school which is a voting centre for the election.
Starting yesterday with judging, the event carries the theme of “advent” and will run today and tomorrow.
The local Sing Australia choir will present a program of music at 1pm with talented seven-year-old Dan Duffy playing the organ between sets.
Judge Margaret Laurence will conduct a demonstration of floral art at 2pm.
Garden lovers from across the district regularly submit entries for the show and all pupils from the school are taking part with entries from each class.
Edna Russell, from the Koroit Floral Art group, won the floral art section with her piece based on the nativity scene.
Pat McConnell took out the top prize in the hybrid tea rose section, Father Lawrie O’Toole won the best perfumed, while Ernie Walsh won the best floribunda and single rose awards.
