Principal Fiona Selway said past and present pupils were invited to the morning celebrations which will include the launch of Cudgee 105 at 150 as well as speeches and a historical museum.
Written by Warrnambool journalist Rick Bayne, the book is filled with stories, memorabilia and photos.
More than 100 people will attend the celebrations.
“Some are coming from Tasmania and New South Wales,” Ms Selway said.
“We have people coming who are in their 90s.”
Ms Selway said old fashioned games such as hookey, quoits and sack races would be played.
“We will also play the traditional Cudgee game known as Fly,” she said.
One of the classrooms has been turned into a museum with old school inspection books, student attendance records, photos and text books on display.
The first school in Cudgee was run by the Church of England at a site adjacent to the rail line from 1864 and in 1891 it was relocated to its current site.
The day begins at 10am with lunch from 12.30pm.
