People will be able to wander through the picturesque site on Sunday as part of a fund-raiser for the Koroit and District Kindergarten.
Spokeswoman Cath Obrien said the fund-raising committee was extremely grateful to the property’s owners, the Jarrold family, for allowing the event to go ahead.
“The garden design is attributed to the famous William Guilfoyle, the curator and director of the Melbourne Botanic Gardens from 1874 to 1909,” Ms Obrien said.
“Guilfoyle was described as a master of his line of work and was commissioned to design Quamby’s gardens.”
The event will feature historical society displays, stalls, a children’s adventure area, Devonshire teas and a sausage sizzle.
It will run from 10am until 2pm. Admission is $5 per adult and children will be admitted free.
