The car, travelling south on the Henty Highway, veered off the opposite side of the road, hit a culvert and rolled, narrowly missing a tree.
The accident happened about 5am and no other vehicles were involved.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was taken to Hamilton hospital for treatment.
“She was very lucky to escape without more serious injuries,” Sergeant Paul Stanhope said.
The car sustained substantial damage.
The cause of the accident is not yet known but police are investigating.
