Two miniature piglets have been added to the menagerie of animals at Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village.
The cute porkers now need to be named and Flagstaff Hill is running a competition for children to decide on monikers for the brother pigs.
Service manager Helen Sheedy said the competition was running over the school holidays.
“We obviously need two boy names,” she said.
“People can pick up entry forms from reception and the winner will receive a family membership to Flagstaff Hill.”
There will also be gift baskets awarded in age group sections.
The miniature pigs are not expected to grow much bigger.
“We can keep them on-site all year round,” Mrs Sheedy said. “At night time they go into a stable. Staff and volunteers will be looking after them.”
The pigs arrived at their new home last week.
“They are really popular so far,” Mrs Sheedy said.
“The kids are loving them.”
