The passenger side window of a ute was smashed and the front door of a nearby home was kicked in, but it is unknown if anything was taken.
A UTILITY vehicle had a window smashed and the front door of a house in Hamilton's Horner Street was kicked in during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Hamilton police Senior Constable Rod Charman said the passenger side window of the ute was smashed and the offenders appeared to have searched the vehicle, but nothing was taken.
He said the front door of a nearby home in Horner Street was kicked in but it was unknown if the offenders entered the home or if anything had been taken.
"The offending is believed to have happened between 1.30am and 3am Sunday. Anyone with information is requested to contact the Hamilton police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000," he said.
