The Cats found themselves on the back foot early against an inspired Kolora-Noorat but drilled 11 unanswered goals after half-time to cap an undefeated season.
League best and fairest winner Jyran Chatfield kicked seven goals in the Cats’ 12.11 (83) to 3.3 (21) grand final win at Reid Oval.
The strong midfielder-forward claimed the best-on-ground medal for his heroics.
A rattled Allansford was kept goalless in the first term as the Power skipped into quarter-time with a nine-point lead.
Kolora-Noorat maintained that margin at half-time, having restricted Allansford to one first-half goal.
But the Power didn’t add to its three goals as the Cats stormed home.
Allansford coach Gerard Farley said he was proud of his team’s second-half response.
“We worked on simple things that we did all year, run forward and work hard back, and lucky enough we got our game in motion so it was good,” he said.
Farley admitted the Cats’ unbeaten record might have played on their minds and unsettled them early.
“Even at training we were nervous and not touching the footy right but to their credit they turned it around,” he said.
“It was a relief. It was good, just the way they finished it off.
“It’s the way we’ve done it all year.”
Farley said Chatfield’s performance was even more impressive given he battled a leg injury.
“He has got every medal in the league so he’s done well, which is pleasing,” Farley said. “He played onball and at full-forward.
“He got injured in the second quarter so we just rested him down forward and I think he kicked seven for the day, which was good.”
Line-breaker Jol Katsaros and back pocket Luke Nevill were other standout performers for Allansford.
Caleb McLean was Kolora-Noorat’s best player.
